Press Release

Endurance United’s Junior Head Coach and Programming Director, Jake Morgan, will be leaving the organization to attend law school. Jake has been in his current role since 2014.

“For the past 3 years, I have had the privilege of working with some of the finest youth, junior, and master athletes in the Twin Cities.  I have not only had the opportunity to work with fantastic athletes of all ages, but great people as well.  While it has been a challenge to work with this diverse group of people on a daily basis, it has been incredibly rewarding to see improvement at all levels each season, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity.

I plan to stay involved with EU to the extent that I am able, and I know that my successor will be of the highest quality.  I look forward to continuing to see growth and improvement in all of our athletes, and I can’t wait to see what the organization is able to do in the coming years.  We have a great leadership structure in place, and many highly committed people who are sure to take Endurance United to new and exciting places.”

-Jake Morgan

During his time at Endurance United, Jake’s work has been exemplary. He has an ability to connect with skiers across all of our programming and has proven to be a strong coach and technician. The junior team has flourished under his leadership. He has been an effective leader and communicator.

While we will miss Jake’s presence, I am encouraged that he has shown interest in staying connected and invested in Endurance United. We have a search process in place and look forward to identifying our next Programming Director and Junior Team coach. There are several very qualified candidates already interested in the position. Our commitment to our skiers remains the same and we expect to have a very smooth transition. The position description and application process are posted on our website here.

Thank you for all you have done Jake!
