Multi-distance route originating out of Stillwater at the Browns Creek Trailhead (401 Laurel St E Stillwater MN). Perfect tune-up for the NorthShoreInline 42k & 21k rollerski race on the following weekend, Sept 14th.

This is a fundraiser for race support for the the EU Youth & Junior Teams. Our goal for 2024 is to raise $5000.

  • Suggested donation for the day of skiing and support from the organization is $50.

  • For each $100 you donate, you will receive a raffle ticket. (A $200 donation=2 raffle tickets, a $300 donation=3 raffle tickets.) Prize details coming soon.

  • Donation is tax deductible. Consult your tax accountant with any questions.

Endurance United is proud of its successful Junior Team led by Liz Peterson, preparing young skiers for the challenges on the ski trail as well as cultivating a lifelong appreciation of a healthy, active and outdoor lifestyle.

We ask you to choose a start time and verify your anticipated route selection. A early staggered start will avoid congestion on the trail.

6:50am departure full course out of the darkness”

7:00am departure “full course or windmill”

7:10am departure “windmill or to Pine Point or Duluth Junction

Full route: Browns Creek Trail (6 miles) to Duluth Junction, turn turn left out and back to North Saint Paul at the "windmill" return to Duluth junction then out and back to Pine Point (9 miles) then home on the Browns Creek trail (6 miles) which is mostly downhill. Total estimated distance 35 miles or 56K!

There’s always some interest in skiing the lift bridge to WI then looping around across the new river crossing. You're more than welcome to tackle this on your own but it is not part of the supported training day. It tends to get pretty busy late morning so we recommend using the loop as your warm-up.

Support:
#1 Gateway trail at the “windmill”
#2 Gateway trail at Duluth Junction.
#3 A couple of roving bikes on trail

* Starts and finishes at Browns Creek Trailhead 401 Laurel St E Stillwater MN 55082. Please check in at finish once you return so we know everyone has made it back safely.

*Please keep the noise down at the parking lot. We don’t want to wake the neighbors with our early morning start.

Not a roller skier? Join us on your bike! We’d welcome the additional support.

Trail etiquette
Keep in mind the trail is open to public so stay to one side and ski single file "double pole" when passing. Call out “biker up”, “biker back”, pass “on your left” when appropriate. We will have supplemental water and packaged snacks on course. Skiing with your own water belt is suggested.
